El maestro German Ríos Bru es un pintor que hace algún tiempo viveen el municipio de Carepa, en la subregión de Uraba. La técnica que el utiliza es la de extraer las formas y los colores del lienzo con un disolvente una vez se ha cubierto el lienzo con los colores deseados.

El maestro Ríos Bru plasma en su obra la problematica de nuestro pais. Para uno admidrar la obra en toda su plenitud, uno debe de acercarse y mirarla con una lupa. Su obra ha sido vendida a muchas personalidades nacionales e internacionales.
